OPENING GALA RECEPTION & SHORT FILM COMPETITION
Thursday, July 17th - Gala reception at 6:30pm, screening at 8:30pm
Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum - 1419 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd.
Join us for a magical evening under the stars at Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum to celebrate Topanga Film Festival’s Tenth Anniversary, hosted by Kelly Carlin! A delicious array of food & beverages will be provided by Whole Foods Woodland Hills. The evening will feature live music plus a TFF tradition, our signature live silkscreening! Bring an article of clothing and walk away with your own coyote memento.
We kick off TFF with celebration of international shorts from Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Lithuania, USA, and Topanga. A girl and a priest, a farmer and his son, an astronaut and a stranger, a broken-hearted guy and his buddy, two kid brothers, a citizen of the world and a woman who loves her red wine, come together for one night of good storytelling under the stars.
Short films in competition:
GOD'S GOT HIS HEAD IN THE CLOUDS
INTO THE SILENT SEA
