WHERE
A traditional hotbed of counter-culture Topanga Canyon has long beckoned artists, seekers and thinkers drawn to the region’s wild beauty, authenticity and sense of community. The festival brings together today’s most forward-thinking individuals in mainstream and alternative media, to share human and intellectual resources through screenings, salons, panels, future technology, VIP events, and some of that legendary Topanga hospitality.

WHY
Topanga Film Institute (TFI) exists to inspire, inform and interconnect a community of filmmakers and content creators, to foster global connections, to facilitate dialogue and to explore new frontiers of story and technology to advance humanity. TFI puts on the annual Topanga Film Festival (TFF) each fall; 2022 will see its 17th edition.
What started as a gathering in the founders’ backyard, has evolved into a vibrant community supported festival that brings together filmmakers and audience from around the world.
